Registrar and Secretary
RADA is seeking to appoint a Registrar to lead the Student and Academic Services team and ensure academic management and governance. Reporting to the interim Accountable Officer, with accountability to the Director of Actor Training and Director of Technical Training this role sits on the Senior Leadership Team. The Registrar participates in strategic and operational leadership of the Academy. As Secretary to Council, the post-holder has a direct line of report to the Chairman of RADA Council on matters pertaining to the conduct and business of RADA Council.
The Registrar is responsible for leadership of RADA’s regulatory framework supporting students, the student experience including the wellbeing service and delivery of student and academic services which support teaching and learning within the Academy. This includes the regulatory framework affecting all RADA students and specific support and services for students on higher education programmes.
As Secretary, the post holder is responsible for the overall governance, assurance and compliance structure of the Academy and ensures the integrity of the conduct of RADA business.
