Director of Student Services

We want all our students to have an excellent experience during their time at BU and the services, quality of education and our campus premium are essential to this.  We are seeking an exceptional candidate, aligned to our values, to champion, lead and enable the achievement of the university’s strategic plan, through the leadership, development and provision of high-quality student services and a high-performing Student Services team.  As a member of the University’s Leadership Team you will participate fully in the management of BU, influencing and contributing to the achievement of our strategic plan and provide senior level, expert and influential student services advice across the University.

Candidates will possess substantial relevant leadership experience at a senior level, with a strong student services background in a medium/large organisation.  You will be able to demonstrate a track record in developing, integrating, articulating and delivering student services strategies which have had a positive impact to the student experience.  Evidence of inspiring, developing, motivating and leading a large and multi-functional team, together with experience of dealing with complex issues and policy formation are essential.  In addition, you will have experience of change management, be an innovative thinker, good communicator and motivated to succeed.
