Head of Skills and Apprenticeships

The University of Derby is seeking a Head of Skills & Apprenticeships to lead the University’s Skills and Apprenticeships agenda, with the aim of securing the University’s position as a key UK HE Apprenticeships and skills provider.

You will draw upon your knowledge and networks to provide insights to inform strategic evidence-based decision making and pursuit of the University’s growing apprenticeships and skills agenda. You will be expected to lead, shape and develop organisational policy and practices for the apprentice programmes.

You will have a proven track record and experience in leading Skills and Apprenticeships in a Higher Education setting and demonstrable experience of successful strategic business planning.
