Working in the Student Experience Directorate means having a purposeful job role, that supports our students and staff across the University, through the provision of a diverse range of services and facilities, and the provision of a wide variety of information, guidance and support. Our teams are here from a potential students first point of contact with the University, throughout their time with us, and even including post qualification career support; all with the aim of ensuring the success and overall wellbeing of our students during their time at the University of Southampton.

We believe that we can only truly play our part in supporting society, if we are reflective of society. We are therefore passionate about creating a working environment in which you are free to bring your whole self to work.

We are focused on creating supportive workplaces for all where discrimination has no place. Your age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, social background, ethnicity or any other identifying factor will never be a consideration here. Instead, we are determined to always treat our staff equally, fairly and with respect as reflected in commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Now is a great time to join our team – we’ve got exciting and ambitious plans at Southampton and we’re looking to welcome a diverse range of colleagues across many different roles as we grow and develop to help us achieve those plans.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our teams, in a variety of operational, administrative and support roles. You don’t need previous University work experience, or even have attended University yourself; we value your positive attitude and passion to make a difference.

If you can bring enthusiasm, transferable skills and determination to work, we’d love to hear from you!
