In particular, network, software or associated systems knowledge including deployment of Cisco or other network applications; Java, Python, C++ and other commonly used industry standard programming languages within real time environments.
The DTS qualification is an industry led course and demands a high standard of project management and communication skills to interface with our industry partners. With this in mind, we welcome applicants who do not necessarily have an educational / teaching background but interest in a career move in this direction.
The position will entail management and smooth running of the course including student progress tracking, teaching on relevant units, appointment of sessional staff, stakeholder reporting, plus occasional outreach to new industry partners to widen enrolment to the course.
You will be joining a dynamic and growing computer science department offering degrees in subjects from creative computing to cloud and cyber security and interfacing with colleagues in content creation and design courses.
