Director of Careers, Employability & Student Enterprise

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, engaging and collaborative Director of Careers, Employability & Student Enterprise to lead the Careers and Employability Service, and further develop the provision of excellent opportunities and outcomes for our students and graduates. Reporting to the Executive Director for Student Experience, this new role will contribute to delivering an enhanced student experience, and to the delivery of the new University Strategy.

With a strategic ambition to be recognised as a leading university for employability, we are seeking a Director who will help shape and drive the strategic approach to employability and student enterprise across the University to ensure a best-in-class careers and employability offer as part of the student experience.
The Director will have significant experience of championing, developing and delivering data and evidence led plans in the support of careers, employability and student enterprise including developing programmes in collaboration with faculties and other key partners, as well as a keen appreciation of current trends and issues.
Candidates will have a confident and collaborative approach, proven experience of leading and managing a sizeable team, as well as influencing colleagues and partners at all levels. Candidates will also be innovative and must have experience of delivering change in a large and complex organisation.
