Leeds Trinity University is in Horsforth, one of West Yorkshire’s most popular communities, just six miles from Leeds city centre and a similar distance from Bradford.

Enjoy socialising after work at a one of the local bars or restaurants just down the road from the University, or take advantage of the fantastic shopping opportunities and nightlife in Leeds city centre, easily reached by a 12-minute direct train route.
Explore the region’s fascinating ancient Viking history in York or drive less than an hour to get into the quaint villages and spectacular scenery of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Discovering the local area is easy – Horsforth train station has regular services to York, Leeds and the beautiful spa town of Harrogate.
If you want to travel further afield, Leeds and York both offer national rail connections and Leeds Bradford Airport is your ticket to Europe and beyond, just a five-minute taxi ride from campus.
Leeds Trinity recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are fully committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental and sustainability performance as an integral part of the University’s corporate strategy and operating procedures, with regular reviews. We will encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders and end-users to do the same.
We have an Environmental Champions group with staff from across the University. Some recent achievements of the group have been increasing our recycled waste, ceasing sending waste to landfill, and working with the British Heart Foundation to encourage our students to recycle their unwanted items.
Our food waste is being used to make biofuel and fertiliser, all our students have been given free reusable water bottles and we are increasing the number of water fountains across campus. Our catering suppliers also now use veggie wear containers for any takeaway foods, cutting down on single-use plastics.
